The coffee-table book

Welcome to the "Legendary Harz". This coffee-table book was created together with the author Christine Lendt and the publisher Frederking & Thaler.

I am visiting, exploring and photographing the Harz region for about 20 years now. That is one of the reasons why the publisher approached me and offered me the opportunity to create this book together with the author. This illustrated book not only offers great photos, but also a lot of background knowledge from legends and folk tales of the region (text is german).

Making of - behind the scenes

Although I had already taken a lot of photos of the region, I was still out and about with the camera for another two years creating new images for the book which are now illustrated on 180 pages.
