I am pretty happy to be awarded again in the International Photo Awards in 2015. This year I received five Honorable Mentions in the three different categories Landscapes, Trees and Seasons.

2013 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition

Honorable Mention in Nature - Landscapes category for the winning entry "Song of the Tides".
Honorable Mention in Special - Travel/Tourism category for the winning entry "Bastei Sunset".

2012 International Photography Awards Announces Winners of the Competition
Dave Derbis was Awarded: Honorable Mention in Nature - Landscapes category for the winning entry "Pala Reflection."

Happy that I've won 3rd place in Fotofestival Horizonte Zingst Contest, Horizonts - in Focus: National Parks.
I'm exited about the festival; to meet other photographers there
and of course to see one of my images in 3x3 meter. :)
The festival is open from 29.05.2010 - 06.06.2010. Maybe meet you there.

My image Like a Candle in the Wind is published in the Dutch Photo Magazine Chip Foto Video Digital, Issue 01/2010.
The article is about tips and tricks of landscape photography in general and some special techniques like long exposures (>30 seconds) for your artistic expression.
