Here, they were set individual photographic assignments, given professional tutelage from our noted photographer and produced a series of shots to compete with each other for a place on the ultimate Assignment." Article about me an my achievements in Canon's The Assignment contest.
"...Held across 18 European countries between March and May, The Assignment 2008 saw a total of 43,404 images submitted in four categories – Portrait, Landscape, Sport and Macro. National category winners were judged against those from other competing countries by an expert panel, chaired by award-winning reportage, portrait and travel photographer Vicki Couchman."

I'm the winner category landscape, germany and also one of two finalists in this category for the mission in Vienna.
About 43000 people from 18 countries participated in the category landscape.
